One of the most popular summer tourist destinations in Central Italy is certainly the 'island of Ponza, belonging to the province of Latina. Despite being surrounded by the sea on its territory is covered almost entirely by mountains, although not very high: with 280 meters upstream the Guard is the highest peak on the island.
